Chris Sharp scored a first half hat-trick as FC United enjoyed a 6-0 friendly victory over Chadderton FC at Broadhurst Park on Saturday afternoon in a match that was arranged to help keep the players fit whilst raising some money for the club.

Ryan White, Tom Peers, and Kurt Willoughby got the other goals in a one-sided affair against a team plying their trade fourth divisions below the Reds. In a fantastic gesture from the players, the whole squad donated their usual appearance fee to club funds.
