FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team went down to a narrow 1-2 home defeat against The Football College Men’s 4ths on Wednesday afternoon in their latest ECFA North West Men’s Invitation 3B league fixture.

After going 0-1 down on 38 minutes and 0-2 down on 62 minutes, the Young Reds’ cause wasn’t helped by Bradley Stanley receiving two yellow cards within a minute of each other on 72 and 73 minutes.

PRIDE BHUNHU, assisted by Cameron Boland, netted a last minute consolation for the home side, but the visitors, who had also missed a penalty on 71 minutes, held on for the victory.
