FC United of Manchester Academy 'B' team's latest end-of-season friendly match saw the Young Reds go down to a narrow 1-2 home defeat against an International House XI on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Monday afternoon.
Highlight of a goalless first half was a series of fine saves from visiting 'keeper Ayo Dele.
And it was the visitors who opened the scoring on 51 minutes through ANOOP BAINES.
On 61 minutes, FC United drew level. Sam Pius set up TOM WOODALL who advanced towards the goal before shooting home.
What proved to be the winning goal came another ten minutes later, on 71 minutes, KNONKH AMIDOV ghosting in to make it 2-1 for International House.
Jermaine Kitoko had the ball in the net for FC United with five minutes remaining, but unfortunately his effort was flagged off for offside.
