FC United of Manchester Academy ’’B’ recorded their third win of the current season with this 2-0 home ECFA NW Men’s Invitation 3A league win against Coaching Connexions Manchester Men’s 3rds at a breezy Broadhurst Park (3G) on Wednesday afternoon.
KANE STOCKLEY opened the scoring for the Young Reds from the penalty spot on 16 minutes after he was fouled inside the eighteen yard box.
Play was delayed for a period midway through the second half after a visiting player was injured after colliding with home ’keeper Tom Bamber.
After the resumption, CAMERON BOLAND made sure of the result with goal number two in the 4th minute of second half time added on.
The result takes the Academy ’B’ team up to second place in the league table.
