FC United of Manchester Youth progressed through to the second round of the Football Conference Youth Alliance League Cup with this 4-0 away win against Crewe Alexandra Youth at the Alexandra Soccer Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
FC United opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a curling free-kick from Sam Hadfield-Summerbee after Jack Ward was adjudged to have been fouled on the edge of the penalty area.
On 59 minutes, Jack Ward made it 2-0 when he latched on to the end of a Sam Hadfield-Summerbee centre.
On 64 minutes, Keenan Tuck made it 3-0 in favour of FC United when he netted from close range.
And on 86 minutes, substitute Darius Palma scored from the penalty spot (after his earlier goalbound effort had been tipped over the bar by the Crewe full-back who earned a red card for his troubles) to make the final score 4-0.
