ASHTON on MERSEY SCHOOL 7 FC UNITED of MANCHESTER ACADEMY 'A' TEAM 1
FC United of Manchester Academy 'A' team crashed out of the ECFA Men's Knockout Trophy at the Second Round stage following this 1-7 away defeat against Ashton upon Mersey School on Wednesday afternoon.
Although this might seem like a heavy defeat, the FC United Academy team had actually played quite well for the most part, and nearly took the lead on just six minutes when a Lewis Ursa shot skimmed the top of the home goal frame and out of play.
