Board profile – Eamonn O’Rourke

Eamonn was co-opted to the Board under Rule 61 of the club’s rules in September 2024.

Eamonn is the CEO of MCRactive, where he has been a driving force behind initiatives that promote physical activity and community well-being across Manchester. He brings a wealth of experience in fostering partnerships between local government, Sport England, and health commissioning bodies, which has been critical in shaping Manchester's innovative approach to community health and fitness. Eamonn's deep commitment to community engagement and his proven leadership in the public sector make him an ideal candidate for a co-opted board position, with a special interest in community issues.
