Join the FA Wildcats Girls' Football Sessions at FC United!

Looking for a fun and friendly way for your daughter to get active and make new friends? The FA Wildcats programme is perfect for girls aged 5–11 who want to try football for the first time or continue playing in a non-competitive, supportive environment.

⚽ Session Details:

Venue: FC United of Manchester, Broadhurst Park, Moston, M40 0JF

Day: Thursday Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Cost: £2.50 per session or £12 for 6 weeks

What to Expect: Fun, themed activities designed to develop football skills and fundamental movements like agility, balance, and coordination. A welcoming atmosphere where girls can build confidence, learn teamwork, and enjoy the game regardless of their experience level. Sessions led by FA-qualified coaches to ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants. Opportunities to make new friends and be part of a supportive community.

Who Can Join? All girls aged 5–11 are welcome, whether they're new to football or have some experience. The programme is inclusive and encourages participation from everyone.

Pitch/drainage online fundraiser at Broadhurst Park

Pitch In for FC United – buy a square today!

We’ve launched ‘Pitch In’ – the new fundraising initiative to help improve the drainage and pitch at Broadhurst Park – and we’re asking all our supporters to donate whatever they can afford!

Grant funding
We’re very grateful to have been offered a £130,000 grant from the Premier League Stadium Fund to carry out the necessary work. We must now raise £40,000 of our own to access the funding.

To achieve this, we’ve divided our pitch into 400 squares and we’re asking supporters to buy as many squares as possible to help us reach our target.

This square is your square
Perhaps you’d like to own the centre circle, one of the penalty spots, or one of the corners forever? Or maybe you’d like to buy the squares in front of the players’ tunnel, the manager’s technical area, or simply the squares in front of where you stand or sit to watch our games? The choice is yours!

Affordable
We’ve made the initiative as affordable as possible for everyone by having four different price options – red, white, black, and gold. Please give whatever you can afford!

Pitch in together
Where possible, we recommend that family, friends and supporters’ branches pitch in together to buy the £500 gold squares.

We hope that individual supporters will give generously by buying the £100 red, £50 white, and £25 black squares. You are not limited to buying just one square – you can buy as many as you like!

Prize draw
Everyone who buys a square will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win XXX. For each square you buy, you will gain an extra entry into the prize draw.

Immortalised in our history
We’ll also create a permanent display under the St Mary’s Road End, showing the pitch with each supporter’s name in the square they purchased. This will serve as a permanent reminder and recognition of everyone who helped make the project possible.

Dig deep
So please dig deep and pitch in to help us raise the money we need to access the Premier League Stadium Fund grant. We want to have a pitch we can be permanently proud of, get our matches on all the time, and give our teams the drainage and playing surface they deserve. Thank you!
