PFTG & DF Barrels vs Northwich Vics 21/04/12
On Saturday vs Northwich Victoria the PFTG ticket sales were a fantastic £1205. The winning ticket was No 863 which was claimed. The winner got £200 and the DF made £1005, giving a tremendous running total for the reason of £12,212.
The DF barrel collection at the Northwich game was also exceptional, with a grand total of £664, which included £42 from the AGM and £250 of coins nicely bagged up from our match day secretary. Thanks everyone for all the support throughout the season. It’ll all go towards our new ground!
PFTG & DF Barrels vs Burscough 18/4/12
PFTG Buxton 7/4/2012 – First Armchair Army Win
Ticket No 210 won – The winner of this draw is a member of the unofficial forum Armchair Army. A number of the Armchair Army (who listen to the matches from afar over the FCUM Radio) purchased PFTG tickets in advance for each home game, contributing over £300 to the DF and for the first time one of the Armchair Army is a winner.
Total income from tickets sold: £930
DF gets £730, and the winner receives £200. Well done all!

DF Barrels & PFTG vs Mickleover – 31/3/12
Against Mickleover Sports on 31/3/12 for PFTG we sold a total £665 the winning ticket being No 86 which was CLAIMED. The lady who won the £200 then kindly donated £100 straight back to the DF to kick start the DF Barrels for the day. The running Total for the season now stands at a fantastic £10,072.PFTG – vs Stocksbridge 10/3/12
On Saturday 10th March vs Stocksbridge we sold a magnificent £935 worth of tickets, raising £735 for the DF. The winning ticket for the £200 prize was no. 84 and was claimed.
PfTG – 18th Feb vs Frickley Athletic
On Saturday vs Frickley a magnificent total of £870 worth of tickets were sold with £670 going into the DF. The winning ticket was No 318 and the £200 prize was claimed. That gives a running total for the season so far of £7762. Thanks for your great support
Funnily enough the winner was part of the group that sponsored the match ball. One of the lads from the same group actually drew the ticket out, we asked him if he wanted to do the draw as it was his birthday so he drew their own ticket out, how’s that for a bit of luck!
Even better though they then decided that they are going to buy community shares with the winnings, has a nice symmetry to it don’t you think!
PftG and Buckets, 28th Jan 2012 vs Hednesford Town
The winning PFTG ticket on Saturday was number 840 and the prize of £200 was claimed. This raised a marvellous £710 for the DF, bringing the running total for the season to £7092!
There was a tremendous total for the DF Barrels on Saturday of £493.00.
This included a fantastic donation by the MAD Theatre Group of £100 who had a collection for the DF at one of their productions.
There was also a collection from Eccles Branch, £70 of Euros previously donated and now exchanged and added in. There were also some Turkish notes and more Euros which will be exchanged and added in asap.
The running total for the season is now £7,140.
Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and or who donated into the Barrels. We have raised over £30,000 now in the Barrels in approx 3 and a half years. Not bad for loose change.

PTFG and Barrels – Chorley 03.12.11
The winning draw ticket on Saturday was 690 and the winning supporter from the other side of the Pennines very kindly donated half of the winning prize of £200 back into the DF Barrels.
The DF Barrels also benefited from the exchange of some previously donated foreign currency to give an excellent total for the afternoon of £411.00. The running total is now up to £5300 for the season. Some more foreign currency was also donated which will be exchanged asap.
Thanks again to our to all supporters who bought tickets, donated change, notes and foreign currency. Every penny counts.
PFTG and DF Barrels – Kendal 23.11.11
On Wednesday night vs Kendal the winning PFTG ticket was No 243 which was not claimed. The Pound For The Ground folks raised on the night another £390 for Development Fund bringing the total to the season to a magnificent £4892! Meanwhile in those famous green barrels a tidy £330 was donated which includes £100 from foreign currency exchanged. Thanks again for your marvellous support!
PFTG and DF Barrels – Chester – 15.10.11
On Saturday vs Chester the PFTG sellers raised sold a fantastic total of £1095, the winning Ticket No. was 260 and the £200 was claimed, so DF Receives £895. The Running Total for the season is now £4502
