FC United versus Krakow Dragoons – date changed to Sunday 10th March

Our Fenix Trophy Group C home fixture against Krakow Dragoons, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 9th March, will now take place at 3pm on Sunday 10th March at Broadhurst Park. 

The match has been rescheduled due to a combination of our league requirements and travel costs for Krakow Dragoons. The Pitching In Northern Premier League has informed us that if one of our forthcoming league games is postponed, it may be required to be played on Saturday 9th March, if our opponents don’t have a schedule fixture on that date As such, we have to keep Saturday 9th March free until all the affected matches are played.

We were hoping to wait until after the Whitby away match on Saturday 10th February before making a final decision. However, due to rising flight costs, Krakow Dragoons have informed us that they need to book their travel as soon as possible. We have therefore taken the decision to confirm the game for the Sunday, which has allowed Dragoons to book their flights before any further price increases.

In the event that we do need to play a rearranged league match on Saturday 9th March, we will play both the league game and the Fenix Trophy game on the same weekend. 

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to supporters, but we look forward to hosting Dragoons at Broadhurst Park on Sunday 10th March, and we hope to see you there.
