CYCM Preview: Liversedge

Coming up this week at CYCM we have Jonny B, Kallum, Jamie and Jonny M, aka Concrete Club. They’ll be playing for us around 2pm this coming Saturday before the inevitable one-nil loss/one-all draw/one-nil win/crazy 5-4 win with injury time winner (delete as applicable according to how jaded you are right now) against Liversedge. We’ll be playing our usual game of hot pie roulette. Which ones will everybody want this week? The week of the Derby the cheese pies disappeared as soon as we got them in. Last time round it was the turn of the Tater Ash pies to go like, well, hot pies, leaving their vegetarian brethren steaming in the pie heater. There will also be the inevitable peas, mystery muffins and Baz giving us all the latest news about … well, we’ll see.

Huge thanks to all donors to the tater ash fund so far this season. Our purse will be empty after we have paid for Saturday's pies, so all donations of a tater ash tenner (or less. Or more) will be particularly welcome to help fund the purchase of future pies which we will then sell with all proceeds going to club funds. Cheers.
