Celebrations and Self Policing

A win over Atherton LR this Wednesday (18th April 2007) will see FC United win the North West Counties Division One title and with it the incredible feat of back to back championships in our first two seasons of existence.

Celebrations will be in full flow at Gigg Lane with the reserve team doing a lap of honour at half time to celebrate their league title win.

FC United are appealing to all supporters to respect the club, Bury, the players and their fellow fans by keeping off the pitch.

The plans for celebrations could be disrupted and even curtailed if there is a pitch invasion and after the hard work put in by Karl and the team, it would be a shame if the moment of celebration is tainted.
