The latest installment of the popular FC United Comedy Night will take place at our Broadhurst Park home on Friday 27th March.

Back by popular demand, anybody attending is promised a memorable evening of cheap drinks, cheap laughs, good food and fine company.

We have put together a superb bill with two headline acts that have been made headlines as they both been finalists on Britain’s Got Talent.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person, with a hot meal being included, whilst tables can be reserved in advance.

These shows always sell out so if you would like to attend then make sure you book early.

Tickets can be purchased either from the office at Broadhurst Park during the week, the membership stall on a home matchday, by emailing vinny.thompson@fc-utd.co.uk or calling the office on 0161 769 2005.

Barbara Nice

Ordinary housewife extraodinaire - has given up the domestic bliss of Tupperware and Poundstretcher shops for the unpredictability of the comedy circuit (her husband thinks she’s at the bingo). No audience is too rowdy for her to handle - she’s already raised five teenagers. She believes in bargains, Take a Break magazine, getting the most from life. Oh and Stage-diving! This well observed comedy character is so likeable that she draws even the most cynical of audiences and takes them along for a ride. ’A hybrid between Victoria Wood and Mrs Merton’ - The Times

Jonny Awsum

Jonny Awsum exploded onto the comedy scene with a crowd-pleasing set, performing his special feel-good brand of musical comedy all over the world and becoming a much sought-after live act.

In 2017, Jonny was broadcast to huge acclaim on the nation’s biggest-rating ITV show, Britain’s Got Talent. Performing alongside Ant & Dec, Jonny won a standing ovation from the theatre audience, a unanimous vote of approval from the judges and was seen by 11 million TV viewers. Jonny was broadcast numerous times throughout the series and made it all the way to the Live Semi-Finals. His performances on the show have been viewed more than 30 million times on YouTube.

Jonny has also appeared on the BBC Radio 2 Arts Show, featured as a guest-presenter on Absolute Radio and written three hit Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows. He was proud to make his panto debut this Christmas, starring as Billy Trott in the Croydon Pantomime!

Smug Roberts - The host and opening act for the night will be Moston’s own Smug Roberts, who will need little introduction to FC United fans and those familiar with the local comedy scene.

The event will once again be held in the Main Stand function room with doors for the evening and the bar being open from 7pm. The Comedy Night itself then kicks off at 7.45pm prompt.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person, with a hot meal being included, whilst tables can be reserved in advance.
