AGM: Notice of the Club’s Annual General Meeting on December 8thFull details of the Annual General Meeting taking place next month are now available.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of FC United Limited will take place on Sunday 8th December 2019, at Broadhurst Park, 310 Lightbowne Road, Moston, Manchester, M40 0FJ - The meeting will commence at 12 noon - Registration opens at 11 am.



FC United is established on one member, one vote, democratic principles, and those principles are underlined by your opportunity to vote in General Meetings on the resolutions put to the membership and, in this case, in the Board election. Adult members who bought or renewed their membership before Monday 11th November 2019 will be eligible to vote at the meeting.

Notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Club, Explanatory Notes, Proxy Forms and Ballot Forms have been uploaded to the Members Forum. If you are unable to access the Members Forum, please contact the office on 0161 769 2005 or email office@fc-utd.uk

The Annual General Meeting of the Club is the annual members’ meeting at which the Board reports to the members on the performance of the Club in the most recent financial year (in this case, to 30th June 2019). The financial statements will be available before the AGM.

BOARD ELECTIONS

In accordance with the current IPS rules, the Club Board can legally operate with any number from 2 members, up to a maximum of 5. There are four vacancies on the Club’s Board and the Club received one nomination.

The following candidate is standing for election to the Club Board:

Sam Mullock;
Re-Open Nominations

Rule 69 of the Club’s Constitution provides that the half of the members of the Club Board who have served the longest at the date of the Annual General Meeting each year will resign.

Consequently, Sam Mullock will be stepping down after serving his 2 years and is re-standing.

Questions for candidates

The members’ forum will be set up to enable members to post questions to the candidate. The candidate forum will be open for members and candidates from Sunday 17th November 2019 until Sunday 24th November 2019, after this, the forum will be closed for questions but the candidate will continue to respond to questions until Saturday 30th November 2019

VOTING

Ballot forms and voting instructions can be accessed via the Members Forum. for those members wishing to register their votes by post or proxy.
If you decide to vote by post or proxy, your completed forms must be returned to the Club’s registered offices, so that they arrive no later than 5pm on Wednesday 4th December 2019. A ballot box will be set up at the membership stall at the home game against Lancaster City on Saturday 30th November 2019.
