FC UNITED v BRADFORD (PARK AVENUE) - Match Arrangements

FC UNITED v BRADFORD (PARK AVENUE) - Match ArrangementsOn Sunday 2nd September, FC United play Bradford (Park Avenue) in the National League North kick off 3 pm.

Results so far have not been what we would have hoped for or expected. The shock news of Tommy Greaves’ resignation on Tuesday night has compounded a highly unsatisfactory and disappointing start to the season.

It’s been a long week and now more than ever we have to remain UNITED and upbeat.

On that note it is worth recalling that this fixture gave us one one of our best home results of last season, a 4-0 victory with Bradford down to 9 men, and goals from loan signings Jeff King (3) and Gerard Garner.

Admission is by payment at the turnstiles which open at 1:30 pm.

Before the turnstiles open, admission can be gained via main reception on production of your season or match day ticket or by cash payment of the match admission price.

Admission prices are as follows

£12 Adults,
£7 Concessions
£ 3 under 18s.

RESERVED SEATING IN THE MAIN STAND

Supporters will be able to reserve seats in one block of the Main Stand on a first come first served basis, by calling the FC United office on Friday 31st August on 0161 769 2005. A maximum of 4 seats can be reserved per person. Those who have reserved seating need to collect a wristband from the FC United office accessible through the main reception on the day of the match. These wristbands will only be available until the kick off time of the match

Board Members Lawrence Gill and Nathan Ellis-Scott will be holding a Board Surgery in the Function Room between 1.30 and 2.30 pm.

PLEASE NOTE the new match day safety procedures below.

In order to avoid congestion around the tunnel and technical areas, the number of persons occupying the space during any game going forward will be limited to club staff only.

The decision to restrict movement of supporters across the technical areas at all times is for the benefit of the players, officials and match day staff who are working on any given match day.

It will enable staff to assist supporters with mobility issues should they need to make their way through this area prior to the game.

Please do take into account these new match day procedures as it is paramount that we are able to move quickly through these key areas of the ground should the situation require it.

BARS AND FOOD

The Club has a licence to serve alcohol throughout the match and fans will now be allowed to drink alcohol on the terraces. As a result all drinks will now be served in plastic glasses.

There will be 3 bars open for this match.

The Main Stand Function Room Bar will serve hot food together with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before, during and after the match. We ask that fans purchasing alcohol in the Main Stand Bar during the game do not congregate at the back of the Main Stand, but instead find a position in the seats or on the terraces.

Before the turnstiles open, access to the Main Stand Function Room is via main reception on production of your season or match day ticket or by cash payment of the match admission price. After the turnstiles open, entry to the function room will be via all turnstiles and then through the seated area of the Main Stand.

Our Cask Ale Bar situated under the Main Stand, behind the Paddock, will sell a selection of real ales. Opposite the Cask Ale Bar the Dry Bar will also serve hot food and non-alcoholic drinks.

In view of the pitch we have a Bar between the Main Stand and SMRE which serves draught bitter and lager.

The bar under the SMRE is closed for renovations.

MATCH PROGRAMME

The match day programme, with some new features, is priced at £2 and is available from our hardy band of volunteer sellers both inside and outside the ground.

POUND FOR THE GROUND TICKETS

We are still raising money for the club’s Development Fund as we wish to carry out small ground developments and improvements to make the match day experience more enjoyable. Pound for the Ground tickets at £1 each help do this, and with two cash prizes of £200 and £50 on offer you are not only helping the club but, if successful in the draw, being rewarded for doing so!! See any of our trusty band of sellers inside or outside the ground.

BP BOOST

This match also sees the launch of our new Development Fund debt buster initiative BP BOOST.
