Sponsor Ray Hayhurst to cycle 100 miles for the Development Fund

FC United founder member and London and Southern Branch member, Ray Hayhurst is raising money for the Development Fund by cycling 100 miles in the scorching heat this Sunday and you can help him reach his £1,000 target.

Following on from Board member George Baker raising a phenomenal £3,000 for the club by completing the London Marathon during a heatwave, Ray has decided to get on his bike to take on the sixth annual RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile challenge.

Ray, who has undertaken weeks of training, said: “The biggest challenge is getting and keeping the weight off. This hasn’t been easy, especially during the World Cup. Beer is the downfall.???

But he knows it will be worth it to raise a few quid for FC United. He said: “I’m raising funds for the Development Fund because, well, we’re a bit skint and need to keep raising money however we can.???
