Howzat for a grand cash prize! David Barrett (right) collects his £1,000 winnings in the Weekly Prize Draw from FC United’s chief executive Damian Chadwick and Steve Wright from Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation

The draw was launched in partnership with the Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation and the money it raises is split between the community football club’s Development Fund and a number of causes supported by the foundation.

Anyone can join the Weekly Prize Draw at the cost of £1 per week, with 70 pence of each pound going to the club and the rest to good causes supported by the foundation, plus the prize pot.

Entrants receive a membership card bearing ten separate unique numbers with the chance of winning up to £1,000 per week.

And if that’s not enough to get you signed up, all entrants will be in with the chance of winning two tickets to the sold-out Roses T20 Blast match: Lancashire Lightnings v Yorkshire Vikings.

The match takes place in the evening of Friday, July 20th where you’ll be able to cheer on Lancashire with drinks, live music, fancy dress, fireworks and street performers!

All entrants who have registered for the Weekly Prize Draw by close of business on Friday, February 23rd will go into the hat to win the tickets.

Finally we have secured a £10 discount on tickets to a dinner to raise money for the LCCC Foundation; “An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson???. This takes place in the 1864 Suite in the pavilion at Old Trafford cricket ground on Wednesday 14th March, from 7:15pm for 7:45pm.

All proceeds will be donated to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, a charity which aims to engage, excite, inspire and improve individuals through cricket.

During a three course dinner Sir Michael will be interviewed for an hour about his amazing career and guests will be treated to classic clips from the Parkinson Show on the big screen.

The room holds just 160 people so this is the opportunity to see and hear Sir Michael in intimate surroundings.

We have a very limited number of places available which we can offer to FC United members at a cost of only £40 per person (including the three course dinner).

To book please contact Peter Young pyoung@lccc.co.uk or 0161 868 6840 quoting FC United.
