Bacup Borough Away - Ticket Details and Getting There

Bacup Borough v FC United of Manchester Saturday 3rd February 2007 Kick Off 3pm

This match will take place at Bacup Borough’s ground, The Brian Boys, West View Stadium, Cowtoot Lane, Blackthorn, Bacup, OL13 8EE.

Please note that on police advice this match will be all ticket with no tickets will be sold on the day of the game.

Ticket Sales:

There will be approximately 1600 tickets available to FC United supporters. Tickets will be available to purchase from Gigg Lane before the Curzon Ashton game on Saturday 13th January 2007.

Any tickets that are left over will be available to purchase from Piccadilly Box Office, St Ann’s Square (above the Easy Internet Café) @ a further announcement will be made after the 13th January.

Ticket Prices are:

£5 adults
£3 concessions (oap’s and under 16’s)

Parking:

There is limited parking around the stadium. There will be 2 official car parks available for supporters and are within a 5 minute walking distance of the stadium. Car park A will be at Bacup Leisure Centre and car park B will be at Bacup Cricket Club.

Both the leisure centre and cricket club are licensed premises and will be serving alcohol from 12pm. On police advise there will be no alcohol served at the stadium itself.

Parking in these car parks will be a cost of £3 per car and tickets for the car park can be purchased at Gigg Lane when you purchase your ticket for entry to the stadium.

There will be approximately 80 car parking spaces available for each car park.

Directions to the ground:

From M62/M60 onto M66, follow to the end Rawtenstall where you come to a large roundabout. Stay in the middle lane and carry on through a set of traffic lights. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles into Bacup. Just past the Nat West bank take second left into Burnley Road. On passing Bacup Leisure Hall on the left, take next right before the Irwell Inn, up to the top of Cooper Street. Turn right and second left into Cowtoot Lane, where the ground is at the top of the Lane.

From M6 go onto M65, come off at junction 9 (signed Halifax/Burnley W). Take A679 which is left off the slip road to traffic lights. Then turn right (Rossendale Road), follow this through another set of lights to the next set of traffic lights, at these lights turn right. Keep in the middle lane and follow up over the moors. At the top of the hill you will pass the Deerplay Public House on the left, carry on to the Irwell Inn, then take the next left to top of Cooper Street. Turn right and second left into Cowtoot Lane.
