MATCH ARRANGEMENTS: Stockport County v FC United

On Saturday 4th November ko 3pm, FC United make the short trip to Stockport County in the National League North - Admission is pay on the gate, £15 Adults, £10 Concessions, £5 for 6 to 17 year olds and Free for under 6s.



FC United will be looking to close the gap on the teams above with a win away at Stockport County on Saturday. We currently sit third from bottom (20th in the league) on 14 points, but have a game in hand on Nuneaton (15pts) and Gainsborough (18pts). Only 4 points divide the teams in 8th position on 23pts and 17th position on 19pts.

Last Saturday ’Tommy Greaves’ Red and White Army’ had a massive boost beating Nuneaton 2-1 at home, and we hope to build on that confidence going into Saturday’s game.

Since FC United dramatically turned a 3-0 deficit into a 3-3 draw in the FA Cup on 3rd October at Edgeley Park, Stockport have lost their following two home matches against Blyth and Kidderminster but picked up a draw away at Darlington and a win away at Nuneaton.

TEAM NEWS:
Sefton Gonzales has left the club, by mutual agreement.
Zac Corbett is suspended.
Steve Irwin and Danny Wisdom are both injury doubts, but Connor McCarthy and Sam Baird have both recovered from their injuries so will both be available for selection.

Segregation will be in operation with FC United supporters allocated 2 blocks of the all-seated, covered Vernon (South) Stand, opposite the Main Stand. Entry is via Turnstiles 3 & 4 at the end of Hardcastle Road.

Aged 6-17 years: £5

Under 6: Free (with full-paying Adult,)

Available for purchase from sellers near the turnstiles, also within the ground, priced at £3.00.

Car Parking

Official, secure matchday parking is available at the Booth Street car park which is accessible from Mercian Way. Secure parking is priced at £4 for cars, £10 per mini bus, and £20 for coaches. Secure parking is open noon-7pm for a 3pm kick-off match

There is independent paid car parking at either end of, and behind, Castle Street in Edgeley.

There will be limited parking in the surrounding roads, and Stockport have asked us to be mindful of matchday parking restrictions and the needs of our neighbours when parking.
