Board Candidates Q&A Forum now available for members

The ’Candidates Q&A forum’ has now been set up on the Members Forum for members to post questions to the candidates standing for the board at the next AGM taking place on Sunday 19th November - The deadline to ask questions is Sunday 5th November.

The forum will be open for members from Sunday 29th October 2017 until Sunday 5th November 2017, then for candidates only until Sunday 12th November 2017. Members without internet access may request a copy of the questions by sending a SAE to the Club’s offices.

Can we ask that all non candidates restrict themselves to asking questions. Although all members opinions on topics are valid, general discussions on any issues raised can be debated by the rest of us on the main forum. The Candidates Q&A forum is for candidates only to give their opinions.

1. There will be a deadline by which questions addressed to all Board candidates are to be submitted, Sunday 5th November 2017.

2. This will be followed by a published response to all questions by all candidates by Sunday 12th November 2017.

3. If candidates then choose to reply to any further questioning on the members’ forum, but outside of the candidates forum, that is their personal choice.

There is additional opportunity for direct questioning of candidates at the AGM; maximum of two hours will be allowed for at the start of the meeting for members to ask candidates questions.
