Relaunch of FC United's Weekly Prize Draw

Relaunch of FC United's Weekly Prize Draw

FC United is relaunching its Weekly Prize Draw draw on Saturday 28th October, in partnership with the Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation.

The partnership will be a win-win for FC United and the LCCC Foundation – the money it raises is split between the community football club’s Development Fund and a number of causes supported by the foundation.

Anyone can join the Weekly Prize Draw at the cost of £1 per week, with 70 pence of each pound going to the club and the rest to good causes supported by the foundation, plus the prize pot.

Entrants receive a membership card bearing ten separate unique numbers with the chance of winning up to £1,000 per week.

The new Weekly Prize Draw will be launched by LCCC legend Warren Hegg at FC United’s home game against Nuneaton Town this Saturday – Warren will also take part in a Q&A with supporters during half-time. All those who sign up will also get a special offer on tickets for a Lancashire CCC match next season (excluding T20 matches).

FC United CEO Damian Chadwick was the first to sign up for the new scheme and said:

“This Weekly Prize Draw will provide vital funds for our club as we continue to develop our fantastic new home at Broadhurst Park, while giving supporters the chance to win exciting cash prizes in return. The club receives 70 pence in every £1, while local good causes also benefit – howzat for an offer! I hope all our supporters will join me in signing up.”

The LCCC Foundation is the official charity of the cricket club and delivers a range of education, health, community cohesion and cricket development projects, including:

  • Sports equipment donations;
  • Table cricket coaching and competitions for pupils with physical and learning difficulties;
  • Healthy heart checks for the public and workshops at schools;
  • Sessions for thousands of school pupils in the “Education Without Boundaries” and “Sporting Foundations for Life” programmes;
  • Employment and training for sports coach apprentices.

  • To join FC United’s Weekly Prize Draw, pick up an entry form from the membership stall at home games or download the form below.

    The new scheme replaces the former Treasureline scheme that was run in conjunction with Bury FC. A revamped section on FC United’s website will list weekly winners.

    Thank you in advance for your support.
