Bring your spare boots to the match this Saturday

The club is asking supporters attending the Stalybridge Celtic match to bring any spare adult football boots they might have and drop them off at the membership stall.

We need the boots to help with the club’s work with Freedom from Torture. We are holding weekly football sessions for survivors of torture from Thursday 21 April and that’s why we need spare adult football boots that will be suitable for playing on our 3G surface.

All donations are very much welcome and should be taken to the membership stall on Saturday.

Freedom from Torture, formerly the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture, has been working for more than 30 years to provide direct clinical services to survivors of torture who arrive in the UK, as well as striving to protect and promote their rights. Since its inception, over 50,000 individuals have been referred for help.
