Test event a success but now we need your feedback

Saturday’s test event at Broadhurst Park was a resounding success. To get over 3,000 people to an event at less than seven days notice was a superb acheivement. A big thank you is owed to all our staff and volunteers for making the event run so well. As expected there are a number of areas that we are looking to improve prior to the match against Benfica. Bar capacity, parking, signage, toilet provision to name just a few and we are currently asking for feedback from those who attended the event by completing our test event survey.

We expect to receive a safety certificate in time for the Benfica game but unfortunately we will not get everything finished in time to enable Friday’s end of season awards event to go ahead. This event will now have to be rearranged to a later date. Once a safety certificate is received we can confirm our ground capacity. In the meantime club staff and volunteers remain focused on preparing for the opening match against Benfica on Friday 29 May.
