A Night at the Opera

November 21st sees the next FC fundraising event. Following on from the successes of previous themed food nights, opera returns to FC.

FC United are proud to present internationally renowned welsh tenor John Pierce hosting a night of opera and fine food at one of Manchester’s finest venues Café Istanbul.

The last opera night sold out and this one is sure to follow the same path.

Tenor John is one of the rising stars of the opera world, whose breathtaking vocal artistry comes with an endearing, easygoing style that has allowed him to grace grand opera, TV and sporting arenas with ease.

As a soloist John has performed in recitals, concerts and competitions across the UK at venues including the O2 Arena, the Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Barbican and The Royal Albert Hall, amongst many others.

Recently returned from a tour with Lesley Garratt, as an avid football fan, John was delighted to be approached to sing for FCUM. A truly excellent live act, John promises a great night in the superb setting of Café Istanbul’s private dining room.

This night will sell out so please get your tickets booked early for what promises to be a great night. John Pierce and a two course Turkish meal for what will be another excellent night of opera.
