What is it?
• You receive training in sports coaching and sports event management
• You help us to run a number of community sports events
• It starts on 1st August and finishes on 20th August with further volunteering opportunities associated with the North Manchester Community Games
What kind of young people would it suit?
• Young people who are into sports AND/OR
• Young people who want to develop communication and leadership skills
What do the volunteers get out of it?
• A valuable experience that will develop you as a person
• And look good on your c.v.
• A fun summer that helps you make new friendships and improves your fitness.
• The training is accredited by the Manchester College so you get a certificate
• An attendance allowance
• An FC United community coach T shirt.
What is the time commitment?
• 10 am to 12.30pm every weekday morning from Friday 1st August to Wednesday 20th August
• Several afternoons on the same days 1pm to 3pm
• Some volunteering slots on August Bank Holiday weekend

• Sessions will take place at MCMA and in Gorton
