Take part in 'Breaking Ground' at Moston this Sunday

FC United supporters needed on site this Sunday to commemorate start of work at new ground

The National Football Museum is looking for FC United supporters to help celebrate the historic development of our new football stadium by taking part in the staging of a special commemorative photograph.

Artist Neville Gabie, and archaeologist Jason Wood, working in collaboration with the National Football Museum, are developing a new artistic project recognising key moments in the development of football clubs. This Sunday at the site of the new FC United ground in Moston they will be staging a special photograph to be taken and used as part of the above project.

If you are interested in taking part you need to come to the Ronald Johnson Playing Fields, site of the new FC United stadium and community facility at 10.30am on Sunday 1 December. Please wear your club colours and scarves etc as this will add to the photograph by clearly identifying you and us as FC United of Manchester.

Please email john.oshea@nationalfootballmuseum.com to register your interest (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult).
