CYCM: Verse and harmony

Two turns are scheduled to appear at Course You Can Malcolm tomorrow - a harmonica and ukele player and a poet.

We have been ably assisted by the collective geniuses behind Strummercamp, who pointed us in the direction of a poet called Kieren King. We are going with their recommendation and this is what his website says:

"Kieren King is a UK based performance poet, winner of the 5th annual Big Bilston Love Slam and co-host of Bang Said The Gun: Manchester. He is one of only nine poets invited to compete in the 2012 UK All-Stars of Poetry slam.

As a member of the Working Verse Collective he co-wrote and performed in their critically acclaimed show “Amateur Thematics???. Their first collection “The Prequel To The Sequel??? is available from Flapjack Press (also available from Amazon & Waterstones). A heathen and an anarchist, he must be approached with caution at all times. Tickling him behind the ear has been proven to soothe him."

Also courtesy of Strummercamp, we have a musical turn who goes by the name of Lexy Music. We asked our compere J Walter Weatherman to expand on the said performer in order to do a preview and this was his response: "I don’t have anything else on him other than he’s called Lexymusic1 and plays a ukelele and harmonica."

Linzi from the Bay has baked cakes, Mike Noodles will be doing his usual vegetarian treats and we will have tater hash and all your favourite tipples from tea to Two Hoots.

Usual door rules apply - members plus one guest, from 12pm ish.
