FC United v North Ferriby at Stalybridge this Sunday

On Sunday 3rd March, FC United’s home game against league leaders North Ferriby United will be played at Bower Fold, home of Stalybridge Celtic. The postcode for the ground is SK15 2RT. Directions to Bower Fold can be found on Stalybridge’s website click here

The date for the North Ferriby game was arranged for the Sunday after the original fixture clashed with home games for both Bury FC and Stalybridge Celtic on the Saturday. With no alternative venue available and to avoid having no weekend game at a crucial part of the season, the Ferriby match was arranged for the Sunday.

How to get there by public transport:

For supporters without a car, getting to and from Bower Fold is straightforward by public transport.

The railway station is well served by trains from both Victoria and Piccadilly. Buses connect with the trains at the station and there’s a bus stop right outside the ground.

Of course if you’re feeling energetic (or want to stop off at a couple of pubs on the way) it’s a walk of just over a mile to/from the station.
