Aunty's coming to Gigg Lane

BBC Radio to broadcast from FC United’s Atherton fixture on Saturday, Sep 2nd.

BBC Radio Manchester has chosen FC United’s home fixture with Atherton Collieries as the venue for its outside sports’ broadcast this Saturday. Jimmy Wagg will be presenting "Saturday Sport"?? from Gigg Lane from 1pm allowing radio listeners to get a flavour of FC United.

All the more reason for our supporters to get people to the game, make a noise and let the rest of Manchester know what a great match atmosphere is on offer at our fixtures. The only big match on in Manchester or on the radio that afternoon will be FC United’s, so it’s a great opportunity to promote the club to fans of football. So let’s prepare to raise the roof on Saturday, when all under 18s will also have free admission.
