Marine's a midweek money-spinner

Midweek games dont usually allow us enough time to sell the usual quantity of Pound for the Ground tickets, but at last Tuesday’s Marine game the sellers knocked off a total of 525 tickets, with the lucky winner coming from Maxi’s Bar in the Main Stand. His winning ticket number was 0945 and Ian joins the growing list of draw winners who frequent the popular pre-match venue. In fact, four winning tickets this season have been bought in the Main Stand Inns. Thanks to all your generous support, another £325 goes straight into the DF.

The barrels were emptied at full-time and yielded £111, (that’s ’Nelson’ to the cricketing fraternity) that will also swell the DF coffers. We are on the road for the next few weeks so please save up all that small change and foreign stuff until Tuesday 11 December at the Kendal game.
