Standing orders

Members’ vote 2 has been put forward by the Board

As detailed under Resolution 2 the Board with the help of members’ have sought to strengthen the election policy and this document is the result of that work and if adopted will form the basis by which the next election operates. It should be noted that we expect, with further input from members, for this document to change and be strengthened over time.
Rather than debate individual aspects of its content we are asking, in this first instance, for a wholesale adoption of the policy. Therefore if there are specific points that members disagree with, members have two options available to them. Either reject the policy entirely (which will then require a further draft to be submitted at the autumn AGM) or vote in favour and submit amendments at subsequent general or annual meetings.
