CYCM: A licence to love

Course You Can Malcolm will play host to a band featuring FC United members on Saturday. This is how The Montoyas describe themselves:

"We are a four piece band from Manchester. Fresh out of the studio from recording our debut EP, we are building a regular presence on the live music scene in and around the city.

"With our ’barnyard stomp with a G-funk twist’ sound, we perform both as a full band and an unconventional acoustic act - including percussion - to keep the music alive rather than the standard two guys and an acoustic guitar. As a result, we have been placed as regulars on the bill of the monthly acoustic event ’BUSK’ at The Garratt pub.

"Welcome aboard the good ship Montoya. We hope you enjoy the show."

Alongside the musical entertainment, there will be the usual beer and food for our patrons to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere behind our own frosted-glass window. The Team is Sheet and a joke or two from Margy, will bring down the tone suitably.

Usual rules apply. Situated behind the Manchester Road End, we open at 12pm, members only, plus one guest.
