As we are all aware, the barrels and bucket collections are climbing towards the £7,000 mark for this season. Considering that we are all experiencing difficult times, then a huge slap on the back is in order to all who have donated.

Included in the £7K there is a sum of around £800 from exchanging foreign currency that has been collected and sorted.

We have seven home games left so please search through your drawers and find any foreign money that you have lying about, bring it to the next home game and pop it in a barrel. Not all of it can be exchanged immediatly, but we will find some way to turn your international tender into English pounds.

This week’s barrels have a flying start of £77 that was exchanged for euros at the Chasetown game by a regular matchgoer and member. It’s an old cliche, but - every penny, cent, dinar, rupee, and so on COUNTS!
