Venue change for Bank Holiday Monday match

FC United’s home game against Bradford Park Avenue will take place at Curzon Ashton’s Tameside Stadium.

The game, on Bank Holiday Monday - August 29th - was due to be held at Gigg Lane.

But Bury FC has been drawn at home in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday, August 30th, meaning Gigg Lane will be unavailable the day before.

Supporters are aware our first choice would be to move our game to Bower Fold in Stalybridge but Stalybridge Celtic will be playing at home that day.

With few options left, the best option for us is the Tameside Stadium which the league has agreed to, as it is suitable to host a NPL fixture.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters and thank you for your understanding in this matter. We would also like to thank Harry Galloway at Curzon Ashton FC for his help with this matter.

FC United of Manchester v Bradford Park Avenue: Monday, August 29th, the Tameside Stadium, kick off 3pm.
