Great Manchester Run 2011 - choose a runner

Once again we have a team of FC runners including supporters, board members and players who have entered the Great Manchester (10K) Run which takes place on Sunday 15th May. At the last count 49 had registered and most of those will be running around the course in FC first team shirts and raising funds for FC and the Development Fund.

For those who can get along to support the runners on the day your shouts of encouragement will be very much appreciated. In particular a number of supporters have arranged to meet up near the 6 Km course marker on the close to the Imperial War Museum to wave FC flags and make their presence known.

If you can’t get along on the day then the Run will be shown live on the BBC from 10.00 am until 12.00 pm.

More importantly, however, we would like you to sponsor an FC runner who you know or from the list below on their Bmycharity page. If you don’t wish to choose an individual runner you can alternatively sponsor ALL FC runners by clicking on the FC49ers link. It’s an important fund raising time for the Club and your monetary appreciation of the pain the runners are putting themselves through will be very gratefully accepted!
