The Bolton And Region Members Supporters Group are holding their first annual Fundraising Sportsmans Dinner, in aid of the development fund and the Jamie Turner Appeal on Friday the 12th of May.
The main speaker will be Manchester United legend Tommy Docherty.
He’ll be followed by stand up John Warburton (City Life North West Comedian of the Year 2004 & Co-Author with his friend Shaun Ryder of Hallelujah!: The Extraordinary Story of Shaun Ryder and "Happy Mondays" ) and he’ll have you rolling in the aisles. John’s been down to Gigg Lane himself this season and knows the score.
There will be an auction and a raffle both featuring signed merchandise and some quality items not to be missed, the proceeds of which will be going to the Jamie Turner Appeal.
The event will be at:
Brookfields,
Peel Street,
Westhoughton,
Bolton
BL5 3SP.
Its very easy to get to - less than five minutes drive from Jct 5 of the M61.
Alternatively the venue is also only across the road from Westhoughton station, which is on the direct route to both Piccadily and Victoria:
The bar is open till midnight, and charges normal pub prices.
Dress for the evening is smart, and there are still some tickets available at just £30 a head. Not bad for a full night of entertainment, quality grub, and regular updates from Leipzig!
