Marine away - admission & travel

Marine FC v FC United of Manchester, Sunday 22nd August 2010, Kick Off 3pm

This game is to be played at The Arriva Stadium, College Road, Crosby, Liverpool, L23 3AS.

Admission is pay on the gate although supporters are requested to buy tickets in advance of the game to help avoid delays prior to the game.

Admission prices are:

Adults £9
Concessions £5

Admission to the ground for FCUM supporters will be via turnstiles 1 and 2 on College Rd

Ticket Sales

Prior to the day of the game tickets will be on sale in the evenings after 6pm at the Marine FC Clubrooms, College Rd, Crosby L23 3AS where they will also be on sale, on the day of the game, from 10am until kick off.

Cheques should be made payable to Marine FC and all applications should request the choice of tickets, either Marine or FC United. All applications should also include a stamped self addressed envelope.

Online Ticket Sales:

Tickets for the game will also be on sale to fans via the on-line facility kindly provided by Tranmere Rovers by accessing their website www.tranmererovers.co.uk

After the final whistle:

To assist with the distribution of home & away fans away from the ground, FC United of Manchester supporters will leave the Arriva Stadium first after the final whistle. Marine supporters will be held in the stadium for a brief period whilst the congestion of the FC United fans has cleared.

Marine Football Club asks that all supporters following the instructions given over the PA system, and by the Safety Stewards & Police both within and outside the ground.

Club House:

Marine’s club house will be open to supporters from 11:30am until 2:30pm. The club house will be closed at half time. Due to capacity restrictions the clubhouse will only be open after the game to players and officials.
Travel

By Coach:

The supporters coach to Marine will leave Chorlton Street at 12:30pm on Sunday 22nd August.

The cost will be £10 for adults and £5 for juniors under 16.

Please book as early as possible as we need to confirm the coach on Wednesday 18th August 2010.

Directions:

From the East & South: Leave the M62 at junction 6 and take the M57 to Switch Island at the end. At the end of the M57 take the A5036 (signposted Bootle & Docks). At the roundabout, at the end of the road (by Docks), turn right onto the A565 following signs for ’Crosby’ and ’Marine AFC’ and follow this road for 1 mile. After passing the Tesco Express on your right, turn left at the traffic lights (by Merchant Taylors’ School) into College Road. The ground is half a mile on your left.

From the North: Leave the M6 at junction 26 and join the M58. Travel along the M58 to Switch Island at the end. Take the A5036 (signposted Bootle & Docks) and follow directions above.

Car parking:

There is no parking at the ground. Supporters are advised to park at the leisure centre which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the ground.

Train:

The nearest train station is Blundellsands & Crosby, which is a 10 minute walk from the ground.
