Tune in this week to FCUM Radio, Radio for FC United of Manchester for another week of great music from your favourite presenters and mine.

FCUM Radio Towers is a hive of activity this week as more plans for next season start to be put in place. The 7 day schedule finally seems feasibility and there’s still opportunity to get involved and put your own show together for FCUM Radio. The FCUM Radio Summer Proms Vol II night was another great night in the series of this season’s live music nights, with all proceeds going to the Development Fund. The night saw great music from Dan Melrose, Dead Celebs and San Juan Boundary Dispute and we raised £247 for the DF. Thanks to all who contributed their time, creativity and enthusiasm, and best wishes and thanks to those who paid their 3 quid to get in - The next installment is Weds 28 July.

And finally, a huge congratulations to resident volunteer Michael Ward, who with the help of his wife Bek, gave birth to their first son last week. We’re adopting Ben Ward as the first official child of FCUM Radio. Congratulations to Ben, Michael and Bek.
