Valuing Older People
FC United of Manchester are working closely with a number of groups in Newton Heath that represent older people. It is our intention to encourage a number of their members to attend an FC United home game at the beginning of the season.
Think of Youth United Day - but for older people.
Many people are excluded from attending live games because of the high cost of modern football. That is why FC United can help to reach out to different groups of people to come along and watch affordable football.
A number of our supporters have set up an FC United Older People’s steering group to assist our work with older people. The first meeting of the group will be held on Wednesday 7th July. If you would be interested in being involved in the group please contact Tom Stott at the FC United office on 0161 273 8950.
