Season Tickets for season 2010/11

Last season, the Board announced a radical new campaign in which supporters decided how much they paid for their own season ticket.

The response was overwhelming and the campaign an undoubted success, achieving everything that it was designed for, namely empowering supporters to take collective responsibility for the finances of the club, recognising that some supporters were feeling the financial pinch, whilst others may be able to pay a little more.

As Dave Boyle of Supporters Direct said at our rally last season: "At which other club would supporters be invited to name their own price for a season ticket and choose to pay more than they had previously? Outstanding."??

We are therefore delighted to propose a repeat of the campaign for the coming season.

We are conscious that supporters’ budgets are tight and that supporters are already generously giving to other club activities and the development fund. But as we strive to get to Ten Acres Lane it is important to keep the club in a healthy state and we ask that once again you support the ’pay what you can afford’ campaign.

Supporters will understand that we cannot afford to give season tickets away and like all clubs we need a degree of security so a minimum price for adults and concessions of £90 will be asked, though if anyone finds themselves in particular circumstances that they cannot afford that amount, they are free to contact the club to discuss the matter.

The average price paid for season tickets last year was £160, a figure which in order to maintain finances we would hope to at least achieve again.

Accordingly, rather than set a target of numbers of season tickets sold, the board has set a cash target of £125,000 from the season ticket campaign.

Season tickets cover 21 league games but not cup or play-off matches.

In effect, concession season tickets for over-60s/the unwaged will be the same as the minimum price for all adults. Those supporters in this category are invited to make a donation, if affordable, along with all other adults. It is proposed that Under 18 season tickets will remain at £21.
