FCUM Radio - Bigger, Stronger, Faster.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen to and support the programmes and presenters we have introduced on FCUM Radio since Christmas. It’s been an exciting time for everyone involved, and April will be yet another step forward for the radio group.

Full match commentaries are still being provided for the Armchair Army by Swampy, Keg & Co while Ben & Marv work to bring new volunteer presenters on board at FCUM Radio, from their homes to your ears. Feedback on the service is not only welcome, but encouraged to station@fcumradio.co.uk.

Plans are building for the summer to ensure the service provided for the start of next season will be full of professional and exciting content. Also, in aid of the Development Fund, we will be hosting a 24 hour live radio marathon where all requests must be accompanied by a pledge, and we’ll have a number of guests throughout the day’s broadcast. More details of the marathon and other events will follow at the end of this season.

From today, we can proudly introduce a newly formatted schedule which runs from 7am through to 10pm without interruption. We now have 13 volunteer presenters producing shows for this station spanning a huge variety of music interest as well as This Club Is My Club - the weekly catch up with all FC news, highlights and updates. Making their debut this week we have Freestylin’ With Finton and Hidden Gems with Scott Taylor, two soul sumpremos who air at 3 and 5pm respectively. Also this week, This Club Is My Club breathes new life with an extended edition every evening at 9pm. Tune in this week for highlights from Bradford Park Avenue, a summary of the Guiseley Game and full coverage from last week’s breaking news of the stadium announcement in addition to news on the Poker Night, Comedy Night 2 and the DF Online Pool Tournament.

That’s it for now - thanks again for all the emails of support we have received to date, and please continue to support all the volunteer radio presenters by listening and emailing them with your announcements and requests.
