BUPA Great Manchester Run 2010

The BUPA Great Manchester Run will take place next year on Sunday May 16th and FC United hope to have a team of runners entered for the fifth year in a row raising money for Club funds as well as many other charities and deserving causes.

Registration 7th January

Registration for the Run will open on Thursday 7th January 2010 and as most runners are already aware in previous years the places have usually been filled within the first few days. This year places are likely to be filled even quicker as the last 10,000 places will be allocated by ballot and so it will be crucial to register in the first 2 or 3 days to guarantee a place.

Run for FC

The Club hope that many fans will once again show their fantastic support and raise further sponsorship for the Club on top of the thousands previously raised by entering for the Run. However the Club wishes to point out that we are currently in negotiations to play a friendly game in Europe that same weekend which will clash with the Manchester Run. It is unlikely that negotiations will be concluded before 7th January and until they are concluded there is no guarantee that the game will be staged.

Supporters who want to take part in the Manchester Run should therefore consider this possible clash of events.
