Northwich Victoria FC - important information

The game is to be played at Northwich Victoria’s Victoria Stadium, Northwich, CW9 6GB.

We posted a story yesterday informing supporters of the ticket prices for this fixture. Unfortunately the ticket prices quoted were not correct due to a misunderstanding on our part, for which we apologise.

We can confirm that the correct ticket prices are, in keeping with Northwich’s usual league prices:

Seated Stand

£14 adults
£12 over 65s
£5 under 16s

Standing Terrace

£12 adults
£10 over 65s
£5 under 16s
£2 under 12s

Northwich Victoria operates cashless turnstiles meaning that tickets have to be bought in advance from the ticket office. This ticket is then shown at the turnstile to gain entry into the ground.

We are in close communications with Northwich on the best way to issue tickets to supporters. Selling arrangements are yet to be finalised and we will inform supporters as soon as possible of the arrangements.

FC United return to the Victoria Stadium on Saturday 24th October for the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round against Northwich Victoria. United played there twice in a week during the club’s first season against Winsford United and Ashton Town and will be hoping for a repeat of the result in the latter encounter.

There is quite a bit of shared history between the two clubs, with former FC United player Aaron Burns (now at Altrincham) and Carlos Roca both having had a spell at Northwich. Manchester United’s original Welsh Wizard Billy Meredith also played for the club early in their existence.

Northwich Victoria’s supporters have also set up a supporters’ trust in order to have a greater dialogue with the club and to help strengthen the club’s community work. The trust is set up in a one member, one share, one vote structure in the same manner as our own football club.

Coach:

Northwich Victoria - Supporters Coach

The Club will be running a coach for supporters for our FA Cup tie away to Northwich Victoria on Saturday 24th October.

The coach will depart from Chorlton Street in Manchester City Centre (next to the Britannia Hotel) at 12 noon, returning from Northwich at 5.15pm.

The cost is £10 for adults, £5 for Under 16s.

To book please click here or ring the FC United office on 0161 273 8950.

We have decided to run the coach to give supporters a convenient way to get to the match. However, if there is not enough demand, the coach will unfortunately have to be cancelled.
