Minithon to Net Over 18,000 pounds

The magnificent efforts of FC United supporters have seen the Minithon fundraising reach over £15,000. Monies currently received by FC United and Medequip now total £14,307, and the club is urging all those who have raised money to collect and urgently send in the outstanding £1000 or so we can settle accounts with Medequip and make the funds available for the club and for Medequip’s children’s hospital work asap.

Gift Aid means that the £15,000 raised by the event will be topped up to the tune of around 25% (or £3,750) by the government and given to Medequip, making a grand total of over £18,000.

More than £7000 will come to FC, making a considerable and welcome difference to club funds. Just over £10,000 of the grand total will go to Medequip, and the club will present the charity with a huge, outsized cheque for £10,000 at half time during the Gigg Lane fixture with Guiseley on January 17th.
