Dieyte only doubt for United

FC United will hope to continue with the same team that narrowly missed out an impressive victory at second-placed Guiseley when they welcome Eastwood Town to Gigg Lane on Wednesday night.

The Reds, who have lost just once in the last 11 and have been playing some fantastic football of late, have an intriguing clash against the Nottinghamshire side. The Badgers, sit one place above United in the UniBond Premier Division but they are also enjoying a good run of form.

Just one defeat in 14 - including seeing off Blue Square Premier outfit Wrexham in the FA Cup to set up a second round tie with Wycombe Wanderers - suggests the visitors will present a tough task.

However, manager Karl Marginson is convinced his team have got what it takes. He said: "The football we played at times on Sunday was magnificent. We are a match for anyone in this league.

"The only slight doubt for tonight is Papis, who was a bit tired after Sunday. Once he is fully fit he will be a hell of a player for us. He is strong and intelligent, works hard, tackles well, can pass a ball and has a hell of a shot on him."??

If Dieyte is not fit enough, Margy may well start tonight with the team that finished on Sunday - with Nick Robinson up front and Chris Baguley dropped back into midfield.
