Now THAT'S commitment

On Sunday 19th October, it will be one year to the day that Gail Frampton found herself in hospital having been thrown into a wall by her horse, knocked out and left with a broken back and fractured shoulder. Exactly one year on, Gail is taking part in the Minithon.

Gail says: "I appreciate Medequip’s provision of hospital equipment even more now! I have been advised just to walk but am still having to practise to make sure I will get round the course. I’m looking forward to seeing the finishing line and raising some money for both the charity and the club.

"Leaving aside the fact I’ve somehow been roped in by my kids, it will be a fantastic day, and I hope all those who can’t run for any reason will get themselves entered and join me walking around the course."

And in another show of dedication:

The 15 people giving up their time to steward the race, are also hoping to raise money for the club. After all they will be assisting those running and walking, and will also be walking the route, making sure people don’t get lost, carrying the wounded, pulling people out of the Mersey and ensuring that Chorlton Water Park is left clean and tidy at the end. No "quick sprint and its over" for them, so if you wish to back the backroom Click here

And if you would like to join them it’s not too late to register
