Development Fund Draw 2008-2009
FC United’s fundraising initiatives are vital to us getting our own ground but the majority of the money raised so far has been donated by supporters without you having received anything in return.
Therefore we want to offer you the chance to continue raising funds but give you something tangible for your efforts via the 2008-2009 Development Fund Draw.
You may recall that last year’s DF Draw winner walked (or rather drove!) away with a BMW One Series. The scheme gave supporters the chance to win a car in the twelfth monthly draw and in between a whole host of additional monthly prizes, including a holiday, a slap up meal for four and a gym membership.
Conscious of the "credit crunch"??, this year we have come up with an idea which will cost you less per month but give you 12 opportunities to win great prizes.
The 2008-2009 Draw will work like this:
From September 2008 to July 2009 FC United will give supporters the chance to win a £1,000 holiday every month and a further £5,000 holiday in our "Super Draw"?? in August 2009.
The prize draw will take place on the last day of every month and will include all supporters signed up to the one year scheme.
Entry into the scheme requires a 12 month commitment per supporter / syndicate, with monies payable monthly at £10 per month per entry by Standing Order.
Membership and participation is subject to FC United Holiday Club Terms & Conditions which will be issued to every participant.
Whilst there will be no car on offer we have decided to run the Development Fund Draw in this way to offer supporters more regular high value prizes. We will also be looking to offer additional prizes in conjunction with our sponsors and supporters of the 2007-2008 draw. Details of these prizes will be published as soon as they are known.
This year’s draw like last year’s will only be a success with your support. Places are limited and entry in the 2008-2009 Development Fund Draw is open until the August 31st 2008.
