Updated: Bamber Bridge - Admission & Travel

Bamber Bridge FC v FC United of Manchester, Saturday 23rd February 2008, Kick off 3:00pm

This game is to be played at Bamber Bridge’s Irongate Ground, Brownedge Road, Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, PR5 6UX

As the weather has managed to disrupt Bamber Bridge’s plans to visit FC United of Manchester to sell tickets in advance, Saturday’s match will now have 4 cash turnstiles to get all spectators into the ground at Irongate. In order to help us get all supporters into the ground we would appreciate it if you could arrive in good time to get in prior to the 3pm kick off, it would also help us to speed things up if supporters had the right change available to pay. Stewards will be on hand to direct you to the most appropriate turnstile.

Prices are:

£7 Adult
£4 Concession
£10 for an adult and child admission

Turnstiles at the ground open at 12.30pm, along with the Clubhouse and bar facilities - access to which is only possible once inside the ground. Bamber Bridge are trying to make arrangements to once again have a ’back bar’ in our back room (which is currently being refurbished). This bar will sell draft lager and bitter and may be a quicker option for refreshment.

The Woodyard End of the ground will be allocated to supporters of FC United of Manchester and the Clubhouse End to home supporters although all facilities will be open to both sets of supporters and there is no strict segregation. The stand will be partially segregated on police advice, the Clubhouse End for Bamber Bridge Supporters, and the Woodyard End for FC United supporters.

Parking

The car park at Irongate will be closed to general admission for the match, however limited availability is available for Blue Badge Holders, please contact Stuart Wilkinson on 07974 260012, or via stuwilky@gmail.com

The roads immediately adjacent to the ground will have parking restrictions for this match. Some space is available at Brownedge St Mary’s church, located 5 mins walk from the ground, where a small charge will be made and will go to church funds.
