Rossendale - 3rd Round Presidents Cup

FC United have been drawn at home against Rossendale United in the third round of the President’s Cup. This game is to be played on Wednesday 16th January 2008, kick off 7:45pm.

The League has insisted that this match is played at Gigg Lane. As the gate receipts for cup games are shared between the two competing clubs and with the costs of hosting this fixture at Gigg Lane, we will need a crowd in excess of 1200 to stand any chance of breaking even.

In order to contain costs FC United will only be opening the Main Stand on the evening. The Manchester Road End will be closed.
