Striker Cayne Hanley has signed for Northwich Victoria. Northwich have waited a few months to capture Cayne’s signature after he was unable to join them until the January transfer window opened.

Manager Karl Marginson said of Cayne’s departure "this is a chance for Cayne to play at conference level and we are pleased for him"??.

Karl added "this shows the opportunity we as a club can offer young talented players"??.


FC United have also released Aaron Burns. Aaron signed for FC United in October after being released from Cardiff and being unable to play for a club at a higher level than the UniBond league until the transfer window opened.

While at FC United Aaron put in 14 appearances and scored 8 goals.

Karl said of Aaron "We would like to thank Aaron for his endeavours and wish him all the best in the future, wherever that may be."??

FC United have been busy over the festive period and have signed another new face. 25 year old Nick Robinson was signed on New Years Eve after being released from Woodley Sports. Nick has also played for Salford City.

Karl is delighted in capturing the signature of Robinson and said "he is a good honest team player who as well as scoring goals, holds the ball well and he can also play in midfield"??.
